Been lusting....

that's a whole heap of alternator, by the looks of the wiring probably had some serious tunes in it.

If it goes much lower the demo derby boys will snatch it up

I'm having fun with my 76.

yeah, the malibu skin is kind of thin but the price was right for the trunk and hood. and I'll probably use all of it

Really want too but I don't have room for it...and I really need to keep the truck right now...if it was a couple years down the road I'd buy it for sure....I don't know.... maybe I can still justify the expense....

But with Di$neyland looming in 6 month$......[smilie=f:

Disneyland :bwuhaha:Just take the kids to Downtown Seattle, there's enough goofy fuckers down there they won't know the difference.

Ahh but the girls want to see the princesses...and not the ones that hang around downtown Seattle I'm sure.....;):D

Just my opinion, but I think $2000 is really high for a small-block 'Doba. I've only ever owned one, and that was a '79 300 for which I paid $600 (OK, it was in '89). The other three were all 400-4V cars, the most expensive being a $500 '77, which I took on my honeymoon and was an S13-optioned (cop suspension) car. Admittedly, that was years ago, but even the red/red 400-4v car I bought a few years ago in similar shape to that car (the paint was much worse, but original) cost me $200 with a nearly-perfect red-leather gut and an AM/FM/CB radio. I cut that car up.

Beenout of town for a few days and thinking a bunch about the car...I agree with you Jass....I have seen 'Doba's in far better shape and with better options for a lot less...and this car is rusty and I don't do rusty....:shifty::toot:

I'll keep my eyes open on the local craigslists and see if a little old lady 'doba pops up...I can alway make it lok like this car...;)
