bear claw latches?

anyone dealt with or have anything to say about bear claw latches(autoloc brand)?

thinking about picking up a NEW set LOCALLY ..45$ gets me latches and pins and they look to be stout as hell....and carry a lifetime warranty [smilie=2:
 
Do it! Now! Street rod builders and F100 guys have sworn by these(and saved lives with closed doors in accidents) for many years.
 
That's a real good price. I'd snap them up if you have the space to use them.
Myself, I prefer the GM style latches, only because the can be mounted completely inside the door, and look neater.

I was thinking of the ones that mount outside the door frame, like an old Ford.
They look purty. :)

Yes niw that you mention it the mopar ones do only have the single catch...Dual catches eh...I can see why they'd call them bear claws...[smilie=::
