She(?) pretty much finds a spot for the day and sticks to it rearranging her position periodically.

At night she moves about the tank once the house is dark, very timid animals are the ball python especially when young. I frequently find myself staring with fasination at this little miracle.

We still have not settled on a name....

Mystery is one option and Genesis is also under consideration.

Z has a unique name idea...Reverse the mothers name "Ozzy" *mirror image* and you have Yzzo (Yiz-O).... [smilie=e:

Truly a beauty Beep, i have 2 balls myself.

Er..

Like i was saying, i have 2 ball pythons myself. One is at least 5 years old and the other is maybe 2-3. They're a lot of fun to have, and they creep the hell out of all my friends.

Eve is a great name! Unless, of course, she turns out to be a he...guess you could change it to Adam, then. [smilie=e:

I have always wanted a snake but no one I ever lived with would allow me to have one. (s)he sure is a beautiful animal. I wanted either a Red Tail Boa or a Burmese Python.

what do you feed that thing?

Baby mice, right now it eats "fuzzies" which are the next size up from "pinkys". I buy 'em frozen and then thaw them. It's difficult to get them live as the amount of mice needed to keep them in supply in the proper size is more than the pet stores want to deal with.

Miracle as we call her(?) seems to have a healthy appetite and that is good thing...a hungry snake is a healthy snake.

Beep!

Need some help here compadre.

As you already may know i have 2 pythons myself. Well some of dad's friends were over last week and forgot to close the cage. Now we have a snake on the loose in the house. Just wondering if you have any tips on catching it. Its gotten loose before but we just stumbled upon it both times. This time im worried because the snake hasnt eaten in over a month so id like to get some food in him before winter at least. So.. any tips?

Snake on the loose? Oh dear! :D Don't have any advice other than get busy searching. As you know they are a very shy animal and quite adept at hiding, once it gets hungry enough it will be on the prowl I suspect and more likely to come out into the open. As the nights get colder it will seek out warm areas...perhaps near your hot water heater or?

Good luck.
