A friend of mine has started a petition with regards to all the political party swapping that has been taking place lately. Think Stronach, Emerson and O'Brian. Please have a look at it and consider adding your support. If you can think of another online forum that would be interested drop them a link too so that others may also give it a read and support it if they choose.
Thanks for your consideration.

To: The House of Commons of Canada PETITION TO THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
We, the undersigned residents of Canada, draw to the attention of the House the following:
That by campaigning and earning a seat in the House of Commons under one Party affiliation and, subsequently, changing Party affiliation during the same term as Member of Parliament, said Member does not fulfill his or her obligation to his or her constituents;
That by campaigning and earning a seat in the House of Commons and subsequently changing affiliation, the Member disregards the initial will and intent of the voters;
That by changing affiliation, the Member damages the integrity of the electoral process and alienates a number of voters who have cast their votes under what are now false pretenses;
Therefore, your petitioners call upon the Right Honourable Prime Minister and the House of Commons to swiftly enact legislation that would require a by-election in any riding wherein the duly elected member changes political affiliations during their term. Said legislation would require the Member of Parliament changing affiliation to petition the Prime Minister to issue a writ for a by-election within a month of the Member’s affiliation change. In this manner, the true will and intent of the riding will be heard.
