Attention Canadians: Bargain Engine Cradle.

Not A Duster

Got an engine or two that are in the way? This is in the current Princess auto flyer for $29.00 (CDN.) Given the price, I wasn't really expecting much, but this thing actually seems pretty good. The uprights are adjustable & the motor just sits on them by the pan rails. The casters are pretty good quality and it even included the ratchet strap to to secure it with.

The catch?

Really limited quantities. It's a "special purchase." They do not stock it which means once they are out of them, they are out. Get one quick if you want one.

Here's the 318/904 from the demon on mine, ready to roll into storage.

Oh yeah - there's a test...how perceptive are you?

That's a good deal Nodda. I could have waited for this one and saved a few bucks.
I bought one a while back and still haven't used it.

I just keep my extra engine at the guy's house that I bought it from...

Anyone seen Jedi lately?

It's my own fault though - not his at all. I bought the engine last year about this time. I got an engine dolly in the spring. Still, I haven't gotten my shtuff together and gone to pick it up.....

I appreciate it Nodda....I guess I should count my blessings that Restoman has forgotten he has some of my iron hiding in his shop. :D

test one pic has motor other has motor and trans ( that must be tail heavy )

Nope - trans is on it in both pics. Guess you can't see it 'cuz of the angle in the first shot.

It balances quite well, actually. Depends where you place the engine on the pan rail.

So they are back in the new flyer for those of you who are still interested in one of them.

They do not stock these on a regular basis - seems they are only in the store for these flyers & sell out rather quickly when they gettem.

Sale starts Tues, but most stores stock the flyers on Sunday mornig...(today)

If they keep selling out on those another option is old shopping carts. Just chop off the basket part and whats left works extremely well to roll a spare motor under the bench. AND they are CHROME.:giggedy:

Is this only Saskatchewan;or nationwide? At that price I could use another one! I just bought one last fall and it was around $100!Will that one really hold the weight of the tranny too?!

Shopping cart sounds like a cheap alternative too! Just don't let Bubbles catch you destroying a perfectly good cart!LOL

I assume it's a nationwide flyer. They usually are, anyway.

Yeah - rolled the engine trans combo to the shed with ease. A good 75 ft over bumpy sidewalk.
