5.54 gears? I hope you meant 3.54's. At least you have the good transmission-the getrag 360 that could have come behind that motor was known to be not-so-strong. If that engine only has 153k on it, you'll probably be dead of old age before it wears out. Those early VE-pumped motors don't make much power, but man do they last.
