There is way too much information there.... [smilie=e:

I remember what someone by that name did to my 73 Charger 340... :D

If you buy it, I'd like to be the first one to compliment you on your lovely Jegs... [smilie=b:

Seriously, though--because of manufacturing variances in both the exhaust and the car itself, you may need to tweak it a little. If you have a cooperative, friendly exhaust shop, they're the folks to have install it (or let you install it in their shop). You may be able to do it yourself at home, but it's nice to have access to the right tools if something won't quite go.

ok. 74 charger with a 440 and 8 3/4 rear. hows that? better?

the exhaust shops around here locally went nuts on me. they want over 600 bucks to do the exhaust. 3 years ago i had exhaust just like what i had done before 3 years ago for 225! its nuts.

i work at a shop, so i have access to a hoist and everything, just not a exhaust bender.

Making friends......making friends....I've heard about that,,,I have a dim memory of that happenening when I was in NYC....

OH YEAH! Now I remember! Of course! MAKING FRIENDS....yeah...that was fun...felt good too.

I need to move.

I installed the kit on a 72 Duster and what Jass said is right, I had to tweak it some. It's gonna be the same way on the Charger too.

Clamps were el-cheapo 5/16 size, the muffler is rolled and crimped instead of welded. It's a fair deal but if you're looking for a NICE system, it aint' it.

Bring it up here, I would do it for half that. [smilie=::

Not including gas and milage of course. [smilie=w: :D

I really wish i could. but with you being way the hell away from here, and the fact i dont currently have a car trailer, it wouldnt work. all i know is i aint paying 600 bucks for exhaust. or if i do end up payng 600 it better be stainless steel or titanium or something damnit. ill have to figure something else out.

i bet you cant get the jegs kit for the HP manifolds though...so that would throw a wrench in it.

hey beeper, how close would my 74 be to your runner? somewhat close?

Give this place a try, I have used them for 2 340 A-body systems, and they are an exact factory replacement. I put one of their systems on Greg340's Duster 10 years ago, and it's just now needing 1 muffler replaced.
