Anyone recognize this?

A young lady asked me if I knew what kind of car this came off of. It was pulled from a car in a junkyard in the 70's. My guess is aftermarket stuff, but does anyone know for sure? Thanks

Bottom is stamped KAAG with a C inside a circle
