There was another security patch released for our software, but this time, instead of just applying the patch, we decided to do the full upgrade.
There were some bug fixes in the upgrade that the security patch did not address. So, it was worth it to jump through the hoops.
The nice thing is, with all of the new toys we've added, I only had to "fix" the menu at the top of the page.
Everything else stayed in place with no re-hacking required.
That's comforting and inspiring. It makes it a lot easier to add bells and whistles knowing that we won't have to re-build them everytime we upgrade. That was not the case just a few versions back.
