Probably mostly known in Canada but also to most that watch the NHL, Stompin Tom passed away today at 77. Resto will probably remember him well for his East Coast brand of music.

Saw him in a bar in PEI a long time ago. I couldn't believe how that old guy (to me back then) had the place rockin' with nothing more than a stomping foot and some catchy tunes.
A big part of Canadiana.
