Another New Job...

C.M.F.

Can't Make Friends
Well, July 14,2005 left me a confused individual... I left the safety net of the parts store to pursue a career in forklift maintenance. Three weeks later, all the fires were put oot and the little trucks were set up on a regular schedule. This is where the problems start... I can't stay busy enough for them. There is nothing broke down or breaking down... so after my 90 day review the decide to drop my wages from 12/hr to 11/hr. So I agree to the drop in wages or risk immediate termination. I should have stayed at the 12/hr rate and kept the risk. 30 days later they fired me.
So Nov. 16th was an interesting day. 2:00 in the afternoon they walk in and say I'm not working up to their standards and that they don't need me anymore. One hour later I was reemployed at the Garage I first started at. Two and a half weeks later they name me Shop Manager. Is God playing a cruel joke on me or is it finally my turn for something good to happen. That's it in a nutshell....

Tune in later for the story of the murdering weed fiend tire man.....:toot:

Wait 'til the forklifts start crappin' out on them - then you can name your own price on a contract basis. Or better yet, stick a fork up their butts and drop a brick on the go button.

Yep, I say you send someone by there with a contract for an outside contractor (you) to maintain and fix the forklifts.. You charge 35 dollars an hour for the work, but you point out to them that they will save money in the end.. they don't have to hire anyone you see..

Enjoy the looks on their faces when you show up the first time.

Yep, sign up for contract work and learn to work real slow...........

Congrats on the new job. Typical of a company to think they do not need you when everything is going good. Just wait they will regret it. I think it would be perfect to negotiate a contract with them, time is money as they say :bwuhaha:
Good luck with the new job also :giggedy:

Charge them 70 per hr plus travel time thats what i used to have to charge.. P.S. They only got rid of you cause there jealous of all your neons.
