1987 Dodge Dakota single cab long box. 3.9V6 and 3 speed awfulmatic. It was a City of Austin truck and it's orange. Needs a box in the worst way. Hit by a plow and yes there's frame damage[smilie=2: Yes i know :nopics: gotta find the camera and buy film.

Pie pan already painted, stage 2 complete...
Now if only the fart can were installed already......:shifty:

How bad is the frame, drive straight? Tailight is still intact, just drive the friggin thing....think of all the room other drivers will give a mangled bright orange municipal truck. ;)

you gotta love the stripe, come on!! Its the only thing holding it together, taking it off would risk its structural integrity :bwuhaha: (sorry Davey, otherwise, good score!)

a box should be easy enough to find or build a nice flatbed.

I do like orange, but that florescent crap and the white stripe looks stupid but we bought it that way I wouldn't have wasted my time with that shit!

hey Davy.... when i get the new frame for my dak i could sell ya the rear section of my current frame..... not sure how it would ship though....

Thanks! The frame might be ok. It does seem to go down the road alright. But it's nice to know of options just in case.

i KNOW my frame is tweaked.... but the truck goes down the road fine also.... well except for the fact that it's toe'd out something fierce.... but i figured that was part of what caused the 17.5 1/4 mile time.... and the fact that i need to replace both inner and outer tie rods might make it a little better....
