ALMS for the poor?

That sucks man, but like you posted, it's the truck or the house, and you can't live in the truck. Or maybe you can, those things are monsters. You got any kids? :D

Of course, you'd also look rather dense pulling the boat with your house. :D

Decisions, decisions... could you perhaps pick up a part-time job until the storm passes?

WEELLLLLLLLLL...I hear Haliburton is paying really well for truck drivers in Iraq right now...

Seriously, all the jobs here that would work with my schedule don't pay well enough for me even to make just the truck payment.

All those jobs have fled to India. Anyone want to buy a perfectly good kidney?

I'd be able to absorb about a 2k loss on the truck but not more than that. I still owe almost 28,500 on her. Shoulda never traded the 2002 in just to get more horsepower. I'd be OK right now if I had not rolled the 6k loss over into the new deal.

I am just a dumfu*k. If I could sell her and trade down to a 4 or 5-year-old truck I could get my payments into the much more manageable area.

Gettin' scary ain't it?

And we keep buyin' Chinese/Mexican crap like having 3 shitty DVD players in the house is better than 1 good one.

As these companies keep sending jobs overseas, I wonder if any of them have considered who is going to buy their products in a few years???

Hope you get it worked out Richr.
