FCA US today appointed Alistair “Al” Gardner as Vice President of Dealer Network Development, though he will remain in charge of the Chrysler brand. Mr. Gardner is replacing Peter Grady, who will retire on March 31, 2015.
Mr. Gardner joined Chrysler Corporation in 1986 and rose through the ranks, taking over from Saad Chehab as head of Chrysler brand in November 2013.
Mr. Grady was also CEO of Maserati North America, leaving that position on January 1, 2015, after presiding over a tripling in sales. An AMC veteran (since 1984), Mr. Grady was put in charge of dealer network development in mid-2009.… (full article) Read the rest...
