A voice from the distant past

I think I'm pleasurin' myself but I'm just
Hello Moparnuts. Very long time no see. How is everybody doing? I was just talking to the Gio and he mentioned the place. I've gone through at least three computers since being here and all bookmarks were well lost. Add a memory like a goldfish and - well there it is. Bang out a reply to this to see who's alive.

I gave my oldest the Dart and he's ditched the 440 for a new 5.7. He's not really going to tear into it until he has nearly all the parts. He's made quite the name for himself in the Asian stuff and builds a lot of 300-500hp 4 cylinder things. He wanted to run a blower but I wasn't going to give him the GTS hood to cut a hole in. So he's decided on running 2 hair dryers hung below hood line.

do keep us posted on his build
I just redid the garage last year (sold both '71 'cudas and one '69 runner). He's now amassing parts and gear for his build. He's got a plasma cutter, a real nice welder, parts washer, some other stuff that was better than what I had, or just new to the shop. He really won't get to it for a bit, but yes whenever he does something I'll post pictures.

Good to see you back fellow Olde Phart. And it's nice to know that the off spring is returning to his roots. :2thumbs:

Yup - he's now nearly 100% MOPAR. However his daily work and most of his after work jobs are on the 4 bangers. There's a million of them and the kids got deep pockets. So he follows the money. The first time I was in one of the 10 second Honda Civics was an eye opener. If they do what he says, they'll last a while. But if go cheap, the life is measured in weeks or days. But they're just as expensive as a real car - maybe more in some cases. But the kids have got money - I don't know where they get it, but they do.

That's 'cuz most of those kids don't have other bills, like rent, heat, electric, groceries....etc.....you know, what we've been doing for the last 45 years. :(

Or the biggest bills.. more kids. Lovely as they may be, they’re expensive little buggers
