A slow day at work

There are only three of us that work here and two called in sick. The owner wont let us work on anything if there arnt at least two of us here.

So I get to surf the net today.

Kinda slow here today, too. Probably 'cause of the holiday. All my government customers and many of my fleets are closed. The service department is busy, though.

Really? I work alone quite often, when we still were open Saturdays only one guy was on duty. Pain in the ass to get anything done with the phone ringing and customers walking in the door. :doubt:

Slow at the shop the last few weeks, much watching of Judge Judy on the TV we have in the office...

Slow out here, too. Construction is down, so there's LOTS of truck fleets parked, except in Tahoe, where everyone with a plow is busy. Needless to say, my side business of musclecar interiors is dead as well. That's winter.

Most years, yes. However, when construction is down, the entire economy is down, therefore no one spends money on their toys.

Hows the boss' girl doing?

Toni is doing amazingly well as are all of the kids involved in that accident. They all survived and the driver is the worst off. He is out of the hospital but not expected to walk with out crutches.

As for a slow day at work; not any more. All of my Monday appointments were rescheduled through the rest of the week in between the full job schedule that I all ready have.
