i was called into work early today not knowing anything and come to find out one of the employees i work with was murdered the night before.
She was someone all the security staff spoke with on a constant basis because she delt with high risk people and we were working by her side to protect her. It sucks to find these things out when she spent most of her time trying to help out the community with their health care. [smilie=s: [smilie=s:
 
Bad news indeed.

Wednesday a nurse Gina works with was called in to work an emergency surgery. On her way back via I-64, some very-important-politician apparently pulled out of the breakdown lane, she moved to the left lane. Then apparently he decided to cut across both lanes to make a u-turn in the median. She T-boned him at 70+, and hey both died on the spot.

Gina came home and said that when she didn't show up, the hospital paged for her over and over and ...
 
To hear of lives extinguished so easily is very disheartening. Not that there is ever a great way to go, but inadvertantly baking brownies totally unaware of it in the twilight of life is fine.

The kids ( and the wife and I) have lost two young friends from motorcycle accidents the last 13 months. Needless deaths both of them.
