My company just changed the rules for company cars. Last time around, I could choose from anything I wanted as long as it was a Taurus.
Now, they have a list of approved cars:
Pontiac Grand Prix (4-door FWD Base Sedan)
Chevrolet Impala (4-door FWD LT Sedan)
Dodge Charger (4-ugh-door RWD Sedan)
Or, if I can make a business case for the following, I could get:
Chevrolet Equinox (5-door FWD SUV)
Dodge Grand Caravan (5-door FWD SE Van)
I can choose the coulour, but nothing else. I can't order upgrades and pay for them myself (like I did with my Intrepid.
)
I think I'm leaning towards the car rather than a van/suv. I fully expect that I will pick the Charger based purely on emotion - it's a Dodge product (but not a Charger).
Watcha think? Am I crazy? Try and convince me that I'm not. Please.
On one hand, I'm still a little cheesed off that they put the Charger name on this car. On the other hand, I like the car for what it is (although I'd only be getting the 2.7L engine). It is a LOT better looking in person than it is on the web and in print.
