I recieved a phone call last night from Notaduster, turns out he was in the area and wanted to meet for breakfast today (Sunday). I was thrilled to hear from him and to get the chance to meet in person.

Nodda and his lovely wife showed at my house this morning and I happily showed them the RR but sadly a ride was not in order as it was raining and drag radials work not so good on wet streets. :( We had a nice visit and they got to meet Cuda and we then had a nice breakfast at a popular small town eatery.

The conversation was wide ranging and easy as they are a very nice and personable couple. :)
We ate well and then they had to hit the road for the journey ahead was long but for the short time they where here I certainly enjoyed their company.

Real nice to meet another moparnut, thanks for stopping by Nodda!

Excellent! He had mentioned he was hoping to meet up, I am glad he did! You really are both great folks. :)

i hope someday i get the pleasure of meeting another MOPARNUT . i do not travel much at all except for work with in a 400 mile range and when i do that its in and out get the job done 20 hour days and get back home .

if any of you ever travel thru the pittsburgh pa area " not sure why anyone would ? " but if ya do send me a PM so we can meet up .

Hmmm... I still have that other Chally up in Millville, PA I need to go get...:toot:

Maybe around Carlisle next year?:huh::bravo:

They were here the Friday before but I was sworn to silence so they could surprise you. We too had a great time and spent the evening chatting over a beer or two at a local establishment.

Heck, I got to hang with them for a spell as well. Due to my questionable living arrangement, Nodda and the Mrs. drove 100 miles out of their way just to take me to lunch the Friday they were at Stretch's place. My boss allowed me a long lunch, and I got to spend a couple of hours chatting with them about all kinds of things.

Finer folks you'll never meet... thanks, Bruce and Shelley, for taking the time and making the effort. Oh, and for picking up the lunch tab, as well. :D

Gotta say I sure appreciate you all taking time out of your day to spend time with wifey & me. It means a lot and it won't soon be forgotten.

I've always been impressed with the strength of character shown by the people here and my visits with you guys has just re-inforced that notion. I think we need the occasional reminder of how fortunate we are to be able to come here and spend time with the best community of car people (hell - any kind of people) to be found on the net. You guys are a class act & I thank you for your hospitality again.

Wifey & I were on a vacation (Our first together since the early 1980's) & we decided to venture forth & visit a few 'nuts while we were at it. Our destination was Southern Illinois to visit friends, so we were able to swing through the U.P. on the way down and though Beeperland on the way back. I'm sure glad we did - it was awesome to finally meet you guys. (Stretch for the second time.) We even caught up with Mopar_Man for a short while, but he was busy with his family visiting & we didn't want to intrude, so we kept our visit short.

Besides the people, I gots to see two very cool mopars. Stretch's survivor Charger has to be seen to be believed. (It's my favourite generation of Charger BTW.) And if you have not heard Beeper's Beeper run, you are missing out big time...

Um, Stretch, about those potato chips.....

so we were able to swing through the U.P. on the way down
And you didn't look me up? :(

:pJ/K

Yeah but he let me drive it!!:giggedy::toot: :)

Gladyou two had a good vacation. It's goodto get out and away from things once in a while! I met Jass, Stretch and the Mrs, Mopar_Man and CMF last summer.....great people and I'm sure they all thought I was a HUGE dork! :bwuhaha:

after you eat that stuff --and someone says - go sauve your ass- theres a real good chance they can see your ass glowing in the day time.. and it wasn,t a remark to be mean with:bwuhaha::bwuhaha:that stuff can get so hot that you could light a fire 4 blocks away. a friend of mine tried some sauce ONCE- and only ONCE ----- he says everything around him went into convulsions . he told me he got 3,rd degree burns on the brain and he swore of the stuff and now wont even go near pepper. the make a suicide sausage stick here. it is 1 inch thick and 10 inches long and if you eat the whole thing they give you another.. 2 bites and your feeling it for a week. no-body has ever gotten the 2nd one.... it flat out stupidity to hurt yourself this way. BUT it WILL kill every germ that isn,t good in your body for you -- thats what i have been told--- thanks but i like my germs...:bwuhaha:the other thing i have heard is you cant find your pecker or your ass for a month... go figure..
