A new image

This has been in the works since Oct. of last year. (maybe even before. :hmmm

When Jr & I road tripped up Yooper to see Doc & Stretch, (....and for me to buy a V65 Magna), I managed to talk Doc out of a set of 15" x 7" rims from a 5th Avenue. My overall plan was to get rid of the 14" Magnum 500's on my '68 SeeDan and go with painted steelies and dog dishes.

As of Tuesday the fresh paint on the car & rims was complete. Today was buying new skins for the new rims.

I have never had any love for Magnums, even when they first came out with them.

It seems "right" on a SeeDan.

Young Guy in a 69 Dart GT 2dr pass me today...F8 Green with green steelies and Dodge dish caps. Looked all original with dents and dings to show for it...but looked amazing as it was!
