A little Hemi power !

Well I am going to build my first Hemi for my buddies 67 Cuda. My brother and I will do it together as he has built 2 Hemi's for some friends. My buddy asked us if we would build it because he dont trust the crate motors. Well I still owe him some money on the 63 so I will just work it off and he is going to give my brother his brand new set of Eddy's that he was going to use on the 383 we were going to put in his Cuda. In fact my brother actually ported the Eddy's for him and they have never been bolted on an eng. We figure we will just go and build the 528 as it really wont cost to much more then the 426. I told him I want to get my 63 done first and I hope its done by May. But we are starting to get parts together for it now so we can get moving on it later this summer. Oh and he said he will let me drive it at the track. Ron

Here is a pic of the car. Body is very straight but it will get new paint and a new hood with the SS scoop. Ron

That's a beautiful car. I've never seen one that colour and the rear tires are just the right width. Take lots of pictures ;)

not a bad way to spend time for sure. bolting together a hemi would be fun fun fun. 528 would make that a mean machine

Once we get started I will take plenty of pics. I figure easy 10's and who knows maybe 9's if he has enough money. Ron

Cool project Ron. Your buddy made the right choice....383man builds some hard running motors and the attention to detail is outstanding.....he is definately in good hands !

That sounds like an easy 10 second combo....more than likely a lot faster with traction. That badboy is gonna be tough to hook up. [smilie=d:
