A green hot rod?

Well, as you guys know, a month ago a family member of mine passed away. Well, we went through some of the things at the family farm in which he lived on all his life (born in the 20's). Well, I once heard a rumor of a Model T in a certain shed from his departed wife (when she was still alive obviously). Well, we found some parts (a tire, a head light, and a starter crank...I think...it was pretty rusted). But what I did find was a radiator shroud from a 30's Chevy. It has only surface rust, so its still good.

From what I hear, it was one of the familys vehicles, and it was green (yes 68, it was green).

I've been planing of building a hot rod in the first place, and I would have to do my research (as in, I'm going to check out the junkyards in Japan), but it might be do-able in Japan. I could do it here, but unless I can be in two places at once and ship it overseas at will, its not going to be possible.

Pretty much, it sounds like we're going to be loosing the family land, and I guess its just my way of keeping something in the family. We'll see how this goes.

that is so cool, keeping the radiator shroud as a centerpiece of your hot rod..

Hey if that photography thing doesn't take off, there's always poetry.

Definition: Poetry is an imaginative awareness of experience expressed through meaning, sound, and rhythmic language choices so as to evoke an emotional response. Poetry has been known to employ meter and rhyme, but this is by no means necessary. Poetry is an ancient form that has gone through numerous and drastic reinvention over time. The very nature of poetry as an authentic and individual mode of expression makes it nearly impossible to define.

one thing you might want to look around for while in japan is the early toyota v8 hemi's..there unique as hell and pushed limo's around..and as a bonus i belive there mostly aluminum and bolt right up to supra 5 and 6 spd's

Wow I didnt know toyota made a v8 hemi. I wonder if that would fit in my cherokee. It has an ax/15 trans they are the same ones as in the supra's.
It would be something different for sure. I wonder if they are fuel injected?
I'llet shipping would be a killer.
