Ron, there's a 71 Dart absolutely identical to your son's car (color, wheels, etc.) with a w2 headed 360 that runs out here at Woodburn regularly. I had to look at your location to see where you're from. That's kinda cool. Oh yeah, the 63 is okay, if you're into that sort of thing (like I am!). They're both beautiful cars. Thanks for the pics.
:bravo:

The grudge match is this Sunday Oct 29th. :giggedy: It will be the first time the 63 goes down the track. It should be a good race as the 63 feels very strong to me. I wont be surprised if it dips right into the mid 11's or at least I hope it does. :toot: No matter who wins it will be a great time for Jr and I. Ron

Cool pics man!! Good luck in the Grudge Match!:bravo: Just don't break anything too badly on either car :D :helpme:

NICE CARS YOU GUY,S ----PLEASE DO NOT SCRATCH THEMTHAT WOULD HURT/ really nice job/ it,s fun doing things with a son/ something to be learn ed here something about family---good to see/ your prie shows better than the car dad-haha----right-on----ORVIL:Fresh Meds:

The 63 drives great and we weighed them last week:

Dart with driver - 3540 , no driver - 3370

63 with driver - 3640 , no driver - 3470

The 63 is just 100 lbs heavier. The combo's are very close as both cars run the same cam. The Dart is a 400 with the .557 cam and stock Eddy heads. The 63 is a 440 with 906 iron heads I heavily ported and added 2.14 and 1.81 valves and also uses the .557 cam. And the Dart has 3.91's as the 63 has 4.30's. I think it will be a good race. Ron

Both cars look good and it sounds like there will be a close race. I think I'll take the '63 to win though.

Really like the pics of your son's Dart and your 63,should be good grudge match.Your son's Dart is almost identical as my Aspen 360's performance.

You are right 6PK. His best is 11.55 @ 116.23 and the funny thing is thats not his best MPH or 60. His best MPH is 116.97 on a 11.59 pass and the 11.55 pass was a 1.63 60 ft. His best 60 is a 1.61 on the Hoosiers but it was in hot air so he hopes to get the 60's in the 1.50's in cool air. Ron
