A bad sign

It's a bad sign when you go to the garage, look at the temp gauge in a car that hasn't been started for a month, and it reads > 100 degrees.

That depends...is it 100 degrees in your garage? Do you have a well in your garage ala "The Amytiville Horror" well in the basement? Do you see upright pigs with glowing red eyes near your car?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions:

1. Get an a/c unit for your garage

2. Run, run like the wind!

I guess it was the air temp.

No ceiling in the garage yet, no way to consistently air condition it. The sun beats on the roof and with no ceiling in there it's like a toaster oven. Need to bite the bullet and finally install some of that insulated foam board as a ceiling. Another benefit is the shiny side will help with lighting.

It sucks that's for sure.

Go sit in a pot full of carrots, assorted other vegetables and some water. See yah in 2 hours.

hey Bob,got any demolition companies in the area ?,my brother in law tears out supermarket equipment for a living, and we use those walk in cooler panels, the white aluminum ones, sandwiched with injected foam, they make great ceiling's/walls,-40*F,and you can work in his shop with a T-shirt,and a small $20 ocillating heater/fan. summertime stays supercool and they look good and are easy to powerwash. and you can hang shelves off of em' w/out locating studs.

Good idea, but no demo co's here that I know of. I went looking back when I first built the garage, trying to buy used cabinets and display cases. No luck.
