This song was originally written in 1934 and later performed by The Flamingos. Their rendition reached #11 on the Top 40 Charts in 1959.

It was also the most featured song in the movie American Graffiti.

It was re-released by Art Garfunkle in 1975, and reached # 18 on the charts.

Remade again in 1989 by Sara Brightman, but it didn't chart.

It is also the most played first dance wedding song.
