I'll shut her down at 8 PM EDT and start packing the trailer.

I hope to have everything out and over to the new digs in a couple of hours.

DNS propagation was very quick last time. I hope it's the same this time. Of course it will vary for everyone, but things should be good to go well before midnight tonight.

k, avatars are officially hosed again.

They were stored in the database and didn't make it through the backup and restore process.

I'm pretty sure this won't happen again as with this new host, I have better access and better tools to deal with the dtabases properly.

Everything on the old host was a work-around. Case in point, the database we are using right now was built manually by cutting and pasting commands from an SQL dump file..

I'm certain I won't ever do that again.
