Drowning deep in my sea of loathing...so I'm
Same site as the Valiant wagon....looks like a cherry car...someone stole the hood scoops, and grille, but other then that it looks like a nice car. It has a friggin Rimblow wheel, and AC!!

'71 was actually the last year for the GT option though I'm not sure about the emblems, nor do I know if the GT option was available on the Swinger. However, the one 360 Dart built that year is/was a GT. It was the only known non-C-body Chrysler passenger car built that year with a 360, and just like all the rest, it was a 2-barrel. I remember my A-body fanatic buddy flipping his wig when he found out about that car back in the mid-'90s. I have no idea where it was or what became of it, but he had some kind of article about it from a Chrysler magazine. Govier documented the thing; it's in his White Book for '69-'71 in the production numbers (at least, it's in my old version). I still haven't heard of another non-C 360 car, but my ear really hasn't been to the ground like it once was either.

Man, how do you know all this stuff? :)
I did a lot of reading over the years, and for some reason the stuff just soaked into my brain. Also, a desire to excel at my jobs caused me to research things even further, particularly when I was working in R&D at Year One. I can't tell you what I ate Tuesday, but that's not essential knowledge to me.

If my oldest daughter was about 5 years older I'd driving to Portland to get that car for her. She loves that color...and would like to drive and old car...Check and Check!! :2thumbs:
