Dragged her home today, and she's ROUGH! Damn shame about her issues, Charger 500 383/auto, only has an 8.25 rear though. :hmmm: Has a disc brake rotor on the left front and a drum on the right

Butterscotch with a brown interior.

Dude, that thing isn't rough at all. The Black Bitch was way worse than that, and I drove it for 3 years. That car would bring good money up this way. You southern boys are spoiled.

Yeah its actually not bad, the drivers inner fender is a little whacked, and she's got a little rust in the lower 1/4's, very little. Hell the extensions are nice! If it weren't for the title issues I'd clean her up and sell her. But as things are, she's a donor. Oddly the dutchmans panel is rotted through.

Oh, on the disc brake spindle on the drivers side it has an 11.75" pin caliper bracket :wtf:

The wheels are not, repeat NOT uni-lug! I'm going to throw them on my car til the transformation, you Meeester Dr.Jass have called the dibs.

id KILL for those slots....and a butcterscotch car...mmmm i love em in that color

docs PM box is full anyway..just send me the slots

The slots are cool!! I'd keep them. Nice to be able to throw on a different set of shoes once in a while. Looks like it might have a few parts to donate to the cause...good score!!

Titling it here wouldn't be so bad, according to He of Great Altitude. I guess all you really need is a bill of sale and the VIN number these days. As long as it doesn't come up stolen, they'll issue you a title. Stretch has done this fairly recently. It used to be much more complex, which is why my '72 Rallye went to the grave.

I would walk to Texas to get that car, particularly being Butterscotch.

The gas tank is a huge plus! I heard vinegar and baking soda will clean out a gas tank, anyone know how to mix it?

No title, VIN tag, fender tag or other identifying marks :(

She's all parts car now days.

However, I shall keep my eyes open for you Doc. Hell I might even deliver :2thumbs:

If there aren't any identifying marks, how do you know it's a Charger 500 with a 383? I'm just asking. It's a damned shame to see something like that go away.

Use the molasses bath for the inside of the tank. Mix it 10 parts water to 1 part molasses. Then fill the tank with it and let it sit for a week or two. Drail it out and you'll have a rust free inside of your tank. Just make sure you get any scale out of the tank first.

That's what I was told it was by the previous owner. He bought it for parts, but sold the car for which he needed the parts. It's not a loaded up car, very basic actually seeing whats left. No numbers Doc, I have the last bit of the VIN I can PM that to you if you can get the rest of it. Is the full VIN stamped anywhere on the car?

No, it's not... but the first part of the VIN should be WH23_1, depending on whether it was a 2-barrel, 4-barrel, or 4-barrel HP. Everything after the blank is stamped in several places on the car. There's nothing special about the Charger 500 after 1969. Starting in '70 is was just an appearance/interior group and could be ordered with base engines.

If that's what I think it is, I've never seen one in my life and I've been to shows and junkyards all over the country.
