VERY EASY TO DO----- JUST COPY A TANDEM DUMPTRUCK ----- I have said this could be done then i come across this... i have a truck i could do this with,,you haveto have a tandem or a chain driven rear. you could also run 3 drive shafts and 2 transfer cases. they do this on large cement trucks. you run a shaft to 1 rear and a trans fer case shaft to the 2nd rear and a front transfer case to the front... or a drive shaft to thfarthest rear and a chain from the shaft to the front rear and then a tranfer shaft to the front.OR -- take a body and put it on a 6x6. that would be the simplest todo. but guy,s like me do it the hard way.. right Kirk? :bwuhaha::bwuhaha::bwuhaha::bwuhaha:-:bwuhaha::bwuhaha:---another way is to do it like a road grader . the back end is chain drven. you should use the same chain as they do on that grader. a 4x6 or an 8x10 chain shouldbe used...and sprockets to match.you run a driveshaft to the front drive and then run chain on sprockets to the back wheels. many combanations can be used. just make sure that the combo. is good for torque good enough to go up hill generously....:doh:id love to see how the rear line is setup......crawlers get into so REALY screwy angles where a rear shaft could easily limit your travel all to hell or simply pop out
THATS NOT WHAT SHE SAYS:bwuhaha:---oops said to loud--er sorry:toot:You could not achieve articulation like that with a chain...period.![]()
