This 1949 Morris Minor “Tourer” (convertible), is owned by Tony Rovert and is in excellent condition. The car has been completely restored and is in excellent condition. There are no rust spots as you can see in the pictures shown at http://www.bhon.net/~evansc/morris/ . The interior has also been completely restored. An added item is the Realistic AM/FM radio which was installed because it is capable of running off of the "backwards" electrical system (Positive ground). The engine is a 918.636 cc (56.06 Cubic Inches) rebuilt engine which runs very well. The transmission has also been rebuilt and there is less than 10,000 miles on the pair of them. The fuel system uses an S.V. Electric Pump and the engine takes regular petrol. The cooling system is a "Thermo Siphon and Fan". The electrical system is a 12 Volt Positive Ground - which is the opposite of North American automobiles. The braking system is a 4 wheel hydraulic system and this was the first British car to use 14" wheels.

The car comes with a trailer, lots of spare parts - including a spare rebuilt engine, car show display including British props, and about 200 Trophies and Awards from various car shows. The trailer has removable ramps and a winch to help get the car on the trailer. Although the Engine is running fine, Tony managed to acquire a spare Rebuilt Engine - just in case. There are dozens of other parts he has managed to find over the years but he hasn't needed them yet. Along with the parts there are also User and Shop manuals for this vehicle.

This vehicle was only driven a couple of times last year. Tony recently did some minor work on the brakes and is not aware of any mechanical concerns at this time. Asking $18,500 or best offer. Call Tony at (905) 354 - 0366.

lol ive always liked the morris bodys with there lack of chrome yet simplistic nature....tho id much rather have that panel

notice the prices on these???..atleast the vert comes with spares and a trailer makeing the price bareable

I was gonna say that they were in Canadian funds, but that doesn't mean as much as it used to...

we're at about 95 cents to the US dollar. So
18500 * .95 = 17575
14000* .95 = 13300

Still not prices to sneeze at, are they?

There is a guy in town that has a mini wagon similar to the one in the picture. It needs a restore done but is set up as a British Paddy Wagon, lights window screening and all. Kind of neat. He is a ex police officer.
