OK........NOW it's finished!!! Would you believe it was finally all done, and the frikkin' brake lights wouldn't work!!! Well, Mike checked everything, and pretty much traced it down to the turn signal switch, or so he thought. Had power going from the turn signal switch, to the pedal switch, to the lights themselves, but as soon as he plugged in the switch.......nothin'. [smilie=2:
Tried three switches in total, and we knew for sure that one of them worked. Then he got thinking, well, it can't be that. On further investigation........someone (aka, probably the hillbilly truck-driver owner) did the old tin foil on the fuse fix. CRAP!!!! All that work and mental anguish for that. Guess what? New fuse fixed the problem.
Anyway, Mike is very happy now, the pressure is off. We took the car for a drive, and I gotta say, for a 41 yr. old car, she rides pretty good. Goes like snot, too! Sure is neat to be driving down the road, flip a switch, and the dumps open up.........SEE YA!!! :giggedy: Owner will probably pick her up Wednesday morning.
Next project...........clutch in '68 Valiant. :bravo:
