Is that the engine that was seized? If so how did you free it up and “put it going”?

nah that was the engine that was in the 58 when i got it...sooo i swapped it into the 57..4 bolts lift the car walk it out of the way..slide old engine/trans/front suspension to 1 side, roll the 58 TS engine/trans/suspension into place, walk car over the engine set it down and bolt back up the 4 bolts and i was done LOL..lets just say i did the whole swap in about 30 mins...it makes a bug engine swap look hard

Yeah I was wondering that too...if that was the seized motor or not...pretty cool...sounds like a few ride'em lawnmowers we've had over the years....:D

in essence its half a bug..500cc using 1100? gen 1 bug piston and sleeves on a different crank..in fact if i wanted to punch it out i can use bug pistons and liners to do so

as rough as it sounds its actualy smooth as hell..the carb is NOT in good shape either.....im told with a carb change i can gain almost 10hp as well as another 10+ mpg bringing it up to 35hp and 60+mpg...as the intake manifold and heads are bored out HUGE and the crab is more of a choke to the system and NOT effecient
