:bwuhaha:
yes , ROB , i too must know . i thinks me wants one also . price [smilie=f:

kick ass looking motor by the way :dance:

ROB , how about a pic of the piston at TDC so i can see what a low deck looks like .

The belt drive is just for serious engines...it does a couple of things...cuts engine harmonics (valve train)... makes it very easy to set camshaft end play...makes it very easy to degree the cam in...make it easy to adv or retard the cam on the dyno...but the main reason is the harmonics the belt acts as a damper ...and at $800.00 it's money well spent...IMO
there are belt drives from australia that are cheaper...but remember...you get what you pay for...we had one of those Ausie belt drives let go and destroy an engine...

$ 800.00 well i guess that will have to wait . :)

how about the TDC pics ? :bravo:

Belt is the way to go but gear drive sounds way way cooler. :)
Keep posting pics and I'll be writing you checks, shipping across the planet be damned. :)

This is going into a stock looking 67 R/T 4 speed Dana car...this is his temp engine to get him through the summer until his KB block gets here...

It's just a toy for him...something to jump in and go for a drive and be able to slip the clutch in 3rd and do a John Force type of burn out for the guys...

Mike...thank you for the complement

I enjoy building stuff on the ragged edge and keeping it together...I'm lucky to have customers (friends) that want that kind of thing...most guys build an engine and want it to last for 600-700 passes or for ever...these guys want the MOST HP per cu in... Period...no excuses...
Inverted flank profile cam on the steet...no problem...[smilie=2:
