46'ers Car Show

Not A Duster

So, for the past 6 or 7 years, there has been a small car show in Pilot Butte hosted at first by the Lion's Club, and later by the local small town car club, with the Lions...

This year the club decided to go it alone and partner instead with the new Bar & Grill in town, and the show was finally truly successful. For a small town gig lots of cars showed up including many that I've never seen before, and the sponsoring bar & grille was packed all day Saturday selling breakfast wraps & burgers....

First off my car, because it's the most important. :D

Always had a soft spot for these...... One of my best friends owned one during high school. Many nights spent thinking we were hell on wheels in it.

And some more. There was probably twice this many altogether. But I had lots of friends there, so spent more time hangin' out than taking pictures.

For Sale. $20K Canadian.

I dont care what you people think. I like this generation of Mustang better than the 64-66. There, I've said it.

'67-70 will always be the best, but the 64-66 look like my grandmother's muscle car.. 67-70 grew into their skin.. And as far as these go.. I'll always have a soft spot for the true Eleanor.

I don't know if you noticed or not, but I have been seeing an increase of 4-doors and what could be considered more "obscure" models at the small shows & cruise-ins. It seems to be starting at the grass-roots level and I like it. There are only a certain number of the "desired" cars available. And they are priced through the roof. The next choice is usually a clone. But the cost to buy or build is becoming beyond average Joe's means. Your final choice is just about anything from the "collectible" era. The variety of cars is increasing, and I love it. The cookie-cutter 57 chevys and camaros are being overshadowed by things like that full boogied poncho sedan. I commend that guy for doing his thing, for whatever his reasons may be.
