360 duster or 360 dakota

Well, I have a 360 to build up and i'm trying to decide which mopar to put it in. it's either going to be the 75 duster or the 88 dakota. the duster needs a lot more work than the dakota does and i just don't know what to do. should i just make a dakota or spend the extra 8 grand on the duster?

Tough call. The Duster will be worth something when you are done...the Dak won't.
BTW, who wants mine? FREE. You pick up. It developed a mysterious no start due to some electrical issue. (sorry to hijack, Nick)

Like XL said, it would make for a nice package either way. (hee hee, I said package)

To put it in the Duster would leave you with 2 vehicles that still need work & $$, whereas to put it in the dak will give you a running truck. worth the value of the motor.:doh:

My brothers 95 will "no-start" if you fool with the tilt wheel before turning it off. It's happened to me twice, maybe I'm the only one who moves it. I hold the release knob and bang the wheel at top and bottom stops a couple times. works, goes vroom anyway.

That's what I was thinking that the duster would win the "cool factor" award, build the 360 drive it in the dak while you're working on the duster. Then when she's all broke in and all the demons are chased out you can drop it in the duster.

Just remember with a V8 dakota swap on them flat faced daks, nobody makey a biggins radiator. Then the butchery begins:bwuhaha:
find a 95ish roundy front end for them extra inches! Chicks dig extra inches specially in da front[smilie=f:

The Duster is my pick to. i'd much rather have a built up duster than a built up dakota. . .
perhaps i'll actually make the dakota and settle the bugs outta the 360 for the duster.. hmm

all i need now is money to build a motor..
