2007 Chrysler Crossfire - $24,900 - Grand Rapids, MI - The Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel drive, 2-door sports car marketed by Chrysler as both coupé and roadster and was built for Chrysler by Karmann of Germany. It was developed during the union of Daimler and Chrysler, the two-seater is based on the R170 platform and shares 80% of its components with Mercedes-Benz SLK320.The name ''Crossfire'' refers to the two character lines that run from front to rear along the body sides - crossing each other midway through the door panel. Conceived during the period of Chrysler's ownership by Daimler-Benz, the name also refers to the collaboration of the two companies.
Unlike most cars of its time, the Crossfire does not use a rack and pinion steering system; instead, it utilizes a recirculating ball system as employed on the donor Mercedes-Benz R170 platform. Unique to the Crossfire is the front suspension as it utilizes an unequal length double wishbone suspension with 5 point multi-link in the rear. All Crossfires were built with a staggered wheel setup, the front wheels are 18-in. x 7.5-in. with 225-40/18 tires and the rear wheels are 19-in. x 9-in with 255-35/19 tires.

It was then purchased by the 2nd owner from Palace Chrysler Jeep in Auburn Hills, MI in 2008 and has since continued to receive the utmost care and attention.
With less than 14,000 original miles, it has barely been broken in. The silent 3.2L V6 engine delivers a stout 215hp and has always been maintained properly according to the owner's manual with Mobil 1 lubrications. This Limited model is fully equipped with heated leather seats, automatic transmission with manual mode, power windows, power locks, power steering, power disc brakes, and power convertible top. It also sports a concert worthy Infinity sound system, ice cold A/C, and blazing heat for those chilly top down cruising days.
Total production of the Crossfire Limited Roadster between 2005-2008 was 25,647 and in the 2007 model year Chrysler made only 1,905. This example is arguably one of the best you will find in the world and its condition speaks to this testament.
