2005 RAM 2500 LARAMIE QUAD CAB(R) 4X2 SWB

So far this is looking like my new car. It's got everything I need to convert over to SVO fuel and tow anything I could ever want.

I live in a city, and I don't need a 4X4. It's also about 10 or 15 K cheaper than a Ford equivalent.

I've never bought a truck before, so I'll be asking a lot of questions...

Like for example, should I get the LAramie, or go with the lower version and get all the luxury stuff on the aftermarket?

My 2002 truck's a Laramie, it sure doesn't seem like a luxury group to me. Power windows and locks is all I see that's fancy about it. Doesn't even have remote locks or power mirrors.

Yeah, they had weird packages. I ended up getting a Laramie SLT plus with the sport package. Talk about confusing!
