This 2004 Rubicon is in exceptional condition that belies its 120k miles (it looks more like 60k). It has many desirable features, including a 4.0L 6-cylinder engine, factory hard top, 5-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, cruise control, and more. It also has its stock driveline and suspension; no crazy lift, oversized tires, blinding lights, etc. This preserves its good road manners and reliability while still being a very capable Rubicon.
The silver paint with factory Moab wheels and black hard top gives a very sharp look. The body is in great shape without the rust issues you see on some Wranglers. There are also aftermarket running boards that add to the look and help getting in and out. The Cooper 245/75R16 tires are like new with only 2,000 miles.
This Wrangler has the proven 4.0L inline 6-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It also has power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes, along with the well-regarded shift-on-the-fly 4WD. Further, this is a Rubicon version which includes Dana 44 axles, 31-inch tall tires, and a heavy-duty transfer case. There is also Tru-Lok to electronically control the locking differentials. Everything is in excellent working condition. There is also an electric block heater and a small hitch receiver with trailer light connector.
The interior is standard Jeep. The seats had covers on them since new, which is how they look today. There is a set of rubber Goodyear floor mats in front. The factory sound system includes an in-dash CD player and subwoofer in the center console. There is also air conditioning and cruise control, along with a keyswitch to disable the passenger airbag.
The "only in a Jeep" phrase is very true. There isn't a better vehicle for year-round enjoyment and practicality. Whether riding around town or out on the trails, this Wrangler won't let anything get between you and a good time.
