2002 Dodge Viper - $44,900 - Atlanta, GA - Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this exceptionally low mileage, clean, well-maintained and tastefully upgraded 2002 Dodge Viper RT/10. With fewer than 6,600 miles, this example looks, feels and drives like new and offers tremendous value for the investment- and performance-minded owner.
Clad in Viper Race Yellow, the quality of the paint, glass, rubber, trim and wheels is a testament to the car's law mileage. Cosmetically, this Viper is as close to flawless as you'll find, both inside and out. Of course it comes with the factory color-matched fiberglass roof panel as well as the fabric insert in case you get caught in the rain while driving with the top off. The seats have been reupholstered in custom yellow and black leather.
The Viper was designed with an "engine first" mentality, which is evident from the moment you turn the key and fire up the all-aluminum 8-liter V10 designed in partnership with Lamborghini. From the factory it made 450 horsepower, would turn in 4.0 second 0-60 times and had a top speed of 185 mph. This specimen has seen upgraded intake and exhaust systems, picking up even more power -- the updates include Berlanger Air intakes with dual K&N cones, M&M ceramic coated headers, Random Tech High Flow cats and a stainless Corsa exhaust. The Borg Warner T-56 six-speed manual transmission is the perfect complement for getting power to the rear axle -- the clutch and gearbox feel great.
With blistering acceleration and a fiberglass body on a tube steel frame, the Viper has been widely praised for supercar performance and handling -- but the one weak spot was the factory brake setup. This Viper has been upgraded to custom powder-coated calipers with ceramic pads on new slotted and cross-drilled rotors.
If you like your sports cars raw without interference from electronic nannies (aka "driver aids"), then you'll be right at home in a Viper...although by 2002 it did come equipped with safety features such as airbags and anti-lock brakes (but not traction control, mind you).
