2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser - $16,995 - Concord, NC - Stk. 1853 2002 Chrysler PT CruiserInspired by the panel vans of the1930s, the Chrysler PT Cruiser caused quite a buzz when it was first released, for model year 2001. It was one of a few vehicles to herald the new retro trend and became an instant success. This two owner PT Cruiser you see before you takes that success to an entirely different level. Its current owner wanted to make it his own and something even more unique. Fortunately for him, he owns a body shop, and devised a plan to customize this Cruiser unlike any other. We believe he has succeeded. He started with the exterior first by laying down a killer coat of Cadillac White Pearl mixed with Blue Prismatic flakes that creates a nice flip flop effect over the roof, hood and aftermarket grille. Down the sides and fenders of the body he applied Chrysler Cobalt Blue with unique vertical bars perpendicular to the fenders solid paint scheme that further define their shapeliness. Chromed 18" five-spoke wheels wrapped with 225/40/18 rubber and custom front and rear bumpers and spoilers along with unique running boards were added to further distance this PT from its stock brethren. Turning his focus on the interior, nothing was left to chance. The factory seats were recovered in Taupe leather with cream Ostrich leather accents which are incredibly supple, soft and comfortable to sit in. All plastic panels from the dashboard to the door panels and hatch were treated to a special marble like finish that positively dazzles the eye and is only enhanced with the combination of wood surfaces throughout the interior, including the solid hardwood tray behind the rear seat. Amenities like power steering, power windows and heated seats along with a custom wood steering wheel round out this amazing cockpit. Under the hood is a visual treat as well with the fully chromed intake manifold and engine cover of its 2.4L D.O.H.C. engine to greet you.
