"A MOPAR FOR EVERY MOOD"
I bought this in August at Hot August nights. I have since painted and installed the cop car rims and tires and painted them in Q5 which is the color of the car.

I had a friend (GIVE, YES GIVE) me a rusty very rusty old beat up 69 RR hood, which I have sent 15 hours on to date. It was missing the corner and I had to build one on it because it had been smashed.I am shooting it Q5 as well and considering putting the RR stripes on the car/hood. Any suggestions on weather to stripe it or not????

My plan is to make a hauler out of it and tow my 68 RR to a show with it. I think the wagons get more looks than the RRs or GTXs these days.

LIKE IT??????
Its just a 318 car but sooner or later I will install a 440 for it that I already ahve thats rebuilt stock.

Ain't a damned thing wrong with wagons and I think the RR hood and stripes will look killer on that Wag!!:gaga::dance:
Surfboard is a nice touch by the way! ;)

Also, I am going to put in a set of buckets, console, shifter, ect in this car. I have some parts for trade for the right stuff out west if anyone wants to do some horse trading. Looking for the B body seats and a decent console and parts for the switch. SORRY i have a bench seat in the 68 RR and am keeping it, so I would like to go console and buckets in this car. Will keep the "PEUTER" colored seats if I can get the new upholstery in that color.

Ya, the board I had custom made by Robert August about 4 years ago for Xmas. It even has the LAWFISH logo and my nickname on it "OUTATOWN DAVE BROWN". I took it out for the next three years down to the Pismo Beach area as I am an old surfer from the 70s when I lived in Huntington Beach. Living in Northern Nevada makes it hard to surf a lot and moving to Idaho in a couple of years will make it harder yet, but the main problem is that my wetsuit is a 225 LB max and I now weigh 238:hmmm: Let me tell you, there is no way to hide 20 lbs of fat in a full wetsuit[smilie=2: so I have to get rid of 20 lbs before heading back out. Every since I quit Detectives and went back to patrol, I lost that hour of gym time and its rough at 45 years old to keep it off and find the time.:helpme:

But the 69 wagon will take me and this board to the Beach when its fine tuned and ready to roll. It runs great now but I want it finished and repainted before we roll 300 miles down south. I dont surf up north, too many sharks, and I am no bodys dinner!!!!

Off with the "wood" and on with the stripes.;)

Ack, no. Hood, no stripes, respray the q5 and redo the woodgrain. :):2thumbs:
The pewter interior is :tats:.

WAGONS ROCK!!! :nanna: Do the stripes, or two tone it :2thumbs: and definately use the RR hood with the 440 :vroom:

I have to agree with him on all counts. I like the woodgrain on those cars. I also like the colour combo.

i love it as it is in the pic's its a sweet ole wagon....striped and hooded is cool to but ya dont see much of the old style wooded wagons any more

As much as I hate fake woodgrain, the color combo, and the surf board add to the car as it is. But thats just me, I seem to fall in love with some of the most strangest cars and trucks.
