I saw a clean looking white 2 door dart that looks a whole lot like the one Dustergal modified. Black vinyl top. For sale sign in the window. If someone is interested I can check it out and post some pics and see what the asking price is.
 
I know no one is interested but I had to update this with more info. The car is actually a 74 scamp, white/green. Green top and interior, the interior looks mint, for around here that means a garaged car. 318 with air and a column auto. bucket bench or bucket seats. The exterior shows a couple of minor dings but nice original paint. No one was home but I was feeling bold so I popped the hood, really nice under the hood with the original engine callout and mopar sticker on the rad yoke. Mileage on the odo says 79k and from the looks of the car I believe it. It looks to be a get in and go kinda deal but since no one was home I dont know what they are asking. I will call or stop by again as it is on the way to the sports complex where my daughter is playing in a softball tourney this weekend.
 
When I came by after my daughters second game today the car was gone and the gate was open. Looks like someone was test driving it. I forgot to mention that the green vinyl top looked really good so it had to be sitting in a garage somewhere for a long time. I will check again tomorrow and see if it was bought or if it is still there.
 
Guy was not at home but the car was back today. I snapped a quick pic through the chainlink fence. You can kind of see how good the interior and top is. There is a seat cover on the drivers side that I did not notice the other day, maybe that cover is toast from a fat ass or something. Anywho, here is a pic. I am concerned the guy might want too much or this thing would be gone by now.

my Mom had a Valient Broughm that looks like it has the Broughm seats, Moms was tripple green with 318 I loved that car. She sold it after 10 years.

Need to find out what they want for it sure would look good in front of my new house.
 
I went by this afternoon. It was some young mexican kid who said the car is his father in laws. So I say "How much does he want for it?" He replies, "He wants 5......" I look at him like hes fucking nuts and blurt out "5K?" He says real quick "or best offer" I politely thank him and leave. I guess anyone with a heartbeat is trying to make money off mopars. Cars like that sold 10 years ago for 150-250. Am I just out of touch or are people fuggin nuts now?
 
I see a bodys with high asking prices all the time but but a 318 scamp that nice under 3 for sure. I just checked NARDA and they do not list any A bodys for 73 or 74 but hay they think my 66 cuda is worth a lot :)

The A bods are getting up there. If you buy ANY thing that has been restified, and done well, the costs are all going to be basically the same...labour is labour....that tends to drive the price up. ;)
 
Those are the same seats I have in my 74 swinger, real comfy too. Minre also has cruise, air and rear window defogger in a 318 / 904 car.:jagoff:
