1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer - $15,900 - Collierville, TN - Looking for a unique vehicle to add to the garage, one that earns cool points regardless of your social circle? Any and all rust was totally eliminated, cut away and replaced with 14 gauge metal panels, front to rear...no diamond plated corner cutting on this build. The whole undercarriage, frame and axles were sandblasted and coated with rust prohibiter then sprayed with rhino liner. New carpet covers two layers of Hushmat dampening material applied to reduce heat and noise. The dash was also totally rebuilt by Dashboard Restorations USA and custom painted to match.
Underneath the hood is the 5.9 liter 360 AMC motor rebuilt with RV cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake and four-barrel carburetor. MSD ignition, new alternator, power steering pump, and aluminum radiator with electric fan, new a/c compressor and evaporator keep everything running smooth and cool both under the hood and in the cabin.
Of course, Jeeps are expected to go anywhere and you certainly can with this truck's 4.11 gears, front lockers, and 16 inch Mickey Thompson Wheels wrapped with 305/70/16 Toyo Open Country M/T tires. A custom front bumper holds three Warn SDB-210 lights with manual KC lights mounted on the rear.

Custom insulation and sound deadening - All interior panels (roof, doors, rear quarters, floor) have two layers of Hushmat
- Driver & passenger floor pans & transmission hump have two layers of Stinger Road Kill dampening material that has heavier foil to reduce heat as far up firewall as possible, along with Hushmat Silencer Board on firewall & Stinger Road Kill carpet pad to reduce road noise.
