I wasn't aware that they had revived the Royal name and used it on a truck. To me that seems like sort of an insult to the original Royals. Seems like another 'trim package' designed to jack the price up. :naughty:

It does seem like a decent, but overpriced truck.

price isnt actualy that far off for that clean of a truck

and i think the "royal" name was an option on all of the 70/80s trucks..maybe into the 60's too but i cant be sure on that one...useualy the royal was an SE first a royal second and had to be pretty well FULL optioned out

He might do OK with it in MO, but up here it would be overpriced by at least double. You can't give away old 2WD trucks up here unless they're really old (actual classics). Dodges from the '80s? Not going to happen.

I've hated that dash since the first time I saw it. It's enough that were I to want one of those trucks, I'd have to swap in a '70s dash or figure something else out. Honestly, I could not live with looking at that instrument cluster.

cant agree more with you doc on the dash..course..i semi feel that way about the late 70s dash vs the early..the early is flat and stylish where the later has tampon wings..and then there is the actual pad shape..yeah gimmy a 72-75 dash any day
