1984 Goldwing

mr340

I don't always drink beer, but when I do
Time to let this one go. I can no longer ride due to a back injury, been hanging on to hope for 5 years, now it's time to face facts.

This is a '84 Honda Goldwing GL1200 STD ( no accessories, no bags etc.). It has 26,705 miles on it.
For those that know anything about these bikes, you know they had stator problems from new ( there was a recall on them). When I purchased it in '96, I replaced the stator, voltage regulator ( original goes with it) and battery. While I had the motor out I also replaced the clutch and timing belts (already had it open, so it just made sense to do it). It also ihas new factory spec Dunlop tires. I just installed a new battery last week ( it's been off the road for 5 years, and last ran 2 years ago), and she fired right up and runs like a clock. It has an aftermarket windscreen. I have attached lots of pics. The only thing I can see it needs is the fork seal dust covers ( the seals are not leaking). It does have the factory air shocks on the rear (manual adjust, no compressor like the aspencade). I also have the Clymer service manual to go with it. It needs to go to a good home. I'm just looking to break even on this, the asking price is $2,400.00
