I would much rather see (build?) one of these with that silly 4.0/258 mutant 5-liter inline 6 the Jeep guys were all silly about several years back. From what I read at the time, that engine was King Grunt, which is what you want in an off-roader. The GM LSx engines, amazing as they are when modded, lack the bottom end torque a truck should have. I have yet to see one where the torque numbers exceed the HP, which is pretty odd for a small-bore/long stroke engine.
