Gee, instead of converting this one to another camaro they converted it to a mustang.

If they'd found a way to keep the T-Case, and front axle, I'd be all over this like a cheap suit. Not sure about the headlights.. Ditch the wheels, and de-tart the engine bay..

i could actualy live with the wheels...but again losing the AWD stinks...think about twin hairdryers and AWD thru a 5spd....it would be a riot

Once again, anything besides all the emissions bullshit it came with.. I test drove a really clean '83 here in town a couple of years back.. I wanted it pretty badly.. Right price, low miles, one owner, awesomely garish interior.. would've lost a drag race to a drunk on a tricycle.. Just miserable..

there were few around here LIFTED..and not alot..but more than your average lifted soobie ..and damn they just look like mean fun....these days i cant help but think about one slipped into the weeds on a tweaked n worked suspension to handle with twin hair dryers spooling up a gnaly v8

You can run 29's on them stock, like an XJ.. But since you mentioned Subies, the old Justy hatchbacks (EA-81's I think).. have a bolt under the backseat to adjust ride height and stiffness on the torsion bars, much like our mopars. Some had a similar set of bolts under the front struts.. Sheet metal screw a selection of your favorite road signs to the undercarriage, lift your heap in 20 minutes, and go embarrass your choice of lifted brodozers by skipping across mud holes..

pretty much....hell ive seen a few with 30's stuffed under em even 1 or 2 with 31's ....there were a few local guys making lift kits for them even so you could gain the height without the "smoothness" being sacraficed...i really REALLY need a brat..preferably gen1 sheetmetal hung on a gen2 as the gen1 undercarage has lift issues in the back the gen2 is all ironed out

but deer god i want this thing BADLY

yeah..its an evil lil beasty...and the trails for it are about 45mins away.....everything from easy to, your insane and your shits about to be totaled

but..see...i have a "scale" rc crawler that allready matches it well enuf....the "real" one would need an exo cage and a set of beadlocks to match

That sounds like fun.. All of the trails around here are getting shut down. They just pulled all of the boulders out of the closest one to me, and added tank traps off on the side trails to open the main trail for leafers, and keep the off road guys out.. Everything in Maryland is shut down, because Maryland sucks (that's not the only reason, just another item on the list) Everything east of me is suburbs, or rich white folk horse farms. West Virginia's closing a lot of them because ATV/UTVs are tearing them up. It's getting harder to find a fun place to go four wheelin' every day.

weve got areas that have been set aside for pretty well forever for atve/utv/truck/buggy/bike basicly 40square miles of coast range..thats the "local" spot..head up to washington and youll find a handfull of areas of similar size..or head south and youll find even bigger spots of dunes and platueas without leaving the state..or head east to the mountains and you get the bonus of snowmobile trails.....basicly there is a good portion of the state is for wheeling of one kind or another..same goes for 1 state up
