1977 Chyrsler Town AND Country

Drowning deep in my sea of loathing...so I'm
Was searching around Copart this evening and came across this beauty. This is a diamond in the rough! I bet it cleans up to almost new condition!

I'm trying to convince myself that I really need this car!

Estimated retail value $2300 USD ? In what universe?

Looks to be in pretty good shape, and it's got a tilt and telescope column... those things are cool. :)

My neighbour across the corner has a '76 or '77 New Yorker Brougham two door, sitting in his drive for a couple years. Love those big, old, un-wanted barges...

Nice! A good scrubbing and buff that car would look great!

I know where there's a nice silver 4 door, with a red gut sitting. I doubt any soft parts are usable anymore though, sun does a number on that stuff down here.

69...If I had more then a urban lot, or some way to get access to my back yard, I would probably be planning a trip down for the auction. ;)

Is it a 400 or 440? I can't tell from the picture. In any case, I'd pimp the shit out of it.

I wonder if that 1 in the fifth digit is supposed to be a T. Here is a listing of the B-RB codes, supposedly from '77.

N - 400 1 - 4BBL 8 cylinder "B" engine
P - 400 1 - 4BBL 8 cylinder "B" engine (high performance)
T - 440 1 - 4BBL 8 cylinder "RB" engine
U - 440 1 - 4BBL 8 cylinder "RB" engine (high performance)

Yeah it is most likely a T-code 440 in the top of the line Town and Country.

69 is this place close by? Would you be willing to go check it out for rust for me? I'm seriously considering it...but want to know if it's in as good a shape as it "appears" to be in.

OK I'm pretty much out. Unless it's rust free, and starts and goes into gear, and goes for about $500. ;)

Wife has been bugging me for over a year for a "new'er" car, she's got a 02 Chrysler Concorde. Well we bought a 2011 Dodge Caliber today...full load.
