1977 AMC Gremlin - $16,850 - Sarasota, FL - Incredibly clean completely restored from frame up. Everything new or refurbished during restoration. Certified show winner on a national level. 3rd place in class at the AMC nationals. Top prizes at local events. Previous owner also sold us another Gremlin that was remarkable but this one here is by far the nicest we have seen and probably the cleanest one available any where! He spared no expense while restoring the car. He is an absolute AMC nut that is very involved with the local Carolina chapter where this car is from. The exterior is in excellent shape with a high gloss paint job over a perfectly straight and rock solid body. All chrome in tip top shape as is all other bright work. The interior looks and smells brand new. The engine compartment is extra clean. Looks like it was scrubbed with a tooth brush! Check out the pictures underneath too. Looks like it was shown with mirrors under it. Please call for nitty gritties. 941-928-2339 www.americanclassiccarsales.com

Why are there no engine pics?? Sometimes even we might like to see a straight six.

Gremlin is still got to be the worst name for a car, that's like naming a car "flawed" or "problems" :D

"Nova" translates into "Nova" and nothing else. The "it doesn't go" thing is urban legend, made up by people who understand just enough Spanish to appear completely stupid to those who understand only slightly more Spanish. Chevy never changed the name, and sold about a billion of them south of the Rio Grande ("Large River").

This is when the Gremlin first started to get really ugly. :dgt:
