Even if he gave it away, he would have a hard time finding anyone interested in a ragged out, beat up and neglected Avanti poser. :dgt:
 
Are those fiberglass? I had no idea. And how does he think its in Excellent original condition with the side knocked off of it like that? Hell, The roof even looks buckled.

They fit three of the Ford Ranger wheels currently on the car. The fourth wheel's from a later-generation Ranger, though.

These cars are like El Caminos: They have a small, loyal following. Most people are curious when they see one, but it's not enough to make them actually fantasize about, much less want, one. Yeah, it's a rare car but even those that love 'em will recognize a badly-abused pile when they see one, and these cars in excellent condition are not high-dollar items. Much like other AMC/Studebaker products, a perfect example is usually well below the $30K mark, although this is not technically an AMC since it's not even a Studebaker. Avanti II was a standalone make/model after the death of Studebaker.
